Helllll no. I’ve had moments of workaholism (see my about page), moments where I became all-consumed with the “hustle”, and moments where I wanted to burn it all to the ground.
But, the moments where the money came, the moments where my business felt the easiest and when clients came to me the fastest, is when I was fully immersed in chill, relaxed, simple ways of running my business.
Where I wasn’t consumed with the “rules”, where I wasn’t trying to keep up with what all the “marketing” experts were telling me I was supposed to be doing to get more clients, where I wasn’t obsessing over my sales, my results, my messaging, my content..
That’s not to say my business has ALWAYS been that way.
And I could have a 6 figure launch while still playing hours of video games on my Switch, taking 2 hour long bubble baths, reading an entire book in a day, going on endless brunch dates with my husband, and now, spending tons of quality time with my son.
My success was like a Taylor Swift song on repeat. It just kept happening.
That, paired with very simple sales strategies that were guided through intuition and excitement..
Being completely unbothered by other people in the industry who it was easy for me to “compare” myself to.
